Zeh School Spirit Events

School spirit events are held throughout the year as a way to bring families together within the Zeh School community. Kids love to get together with their friends outside of class time. Parents enjoy mingling with old friends and getting acquainted with new ones.

Some school spirit events charge a nominal fee. Unlike fundraisers that are held to make money for the school, these events collect money to offset the cost of holding the event.

To the left is a list of the 2009-2010 school year school spirit events. Click on the name of the event to find out more about it. A '$$' means that money is collected for this event.

Applefest Parade

Description: Walk in the Applefest parade, show your stripes and represent your school. If you have never done it before, it's great fun!

Fall Hike Day

Mount Pisgah

Description: Reinvigorate your body and soul with a walk up Northborough's beautiful Mount Pisgah. Mr. Sieurin annually hosts a guided tour for families. Enjoy the fall foliage while you hike through the woods and, if the sky is clear, get a view of Boston at the top! Families should meet at the Zeh School parking lot at 8:45am. Cars will leave for Mt. Pisgah at 9:00am.

Family Read Aloud Night

Thursday November 4th

6:30 - 8:00pm

Description: Read Aloud Night is a lot of fun! Kids love to show up in their pajamas and have books read to them. Throughout the evening, the cafeteria is open to serve milk and cookies! This event will be held at the same time as the Top Shelf Books book fair, so be sure to check out this annual fundraiser in the library.

Pancake Breakfast

Description: Forget about the Lumberjack breakfast at Denny's. We've got something better (and cheaper)! Save your appetite for this great family breakfast that is held in the Zeh School Cafeteria. Tickets are sold in advance to help our coordinators know how many families are attending. The money collected from the tickets helps offset the cost of the food. Come check out the fun!

Family Game Night

Description: Calling all board game lovers!! The Zeh School PTO invites you to a great night of playing board games while enjoying snacks. Free snacks will be served in the cafeteria from 6:30-7:30 pm for everyone who attends, followed by a variety of board games that you and your family can enjoy playing together.
